The fly-on-the-wall Netflix series Formula 1: Drive to Survive has made an unlikely global star out of Guenther Steiner, the tall, profane, no-filter, German-speaking Italian who runs the Haas racing team. Because Haas is a minnow in a multibillion-dollar sport, the fierce but loveable Steiner spends his life on an emotional rollercoaster of hope and exasperation, constantly dealing with disasters.
