Succession series 4, episode 9 recap — who won the day?

It’s the night after the US presidential election and the day of Logan Roy’s funeral. Yes, Succession episodes may be long and magnificently involving, but the action this series has been taking place over a deceptively short period of time. And Church and State, the penultimate episode of the final season, was never going to be an uneventful affair. It began — and ended — with protesters on the streets. Although by the time the credits rolled, the Roy boys, Kendall and Roman, were sitting a lot less pretty than when the day started . . .
It’s rather fitting that New York (where protests made it bit “Tiananmen-y”, according to Tom) is gridlocked for Logan’s funeral, given the
