Can disgraced politicians please just shut up and go and think about what they’ve done? The spectacle of Matt Hancock and Liz Truss popping up to give policy advice is an affront to our intelligence and their dignity.
Hancock was back last week arguing that the Tories ought to stop fighting culture wars (always code for: “Let the other side do what they want”) and must stay “socially liberal”. This from a man who cheated on his wife and children during a national lockdown and then went on TV to talk about how wonderful it was to be in love.
