Madeleine McCann: police search reservoir visited by Christian Brueckner
Police looking for Madeleine McCann have begun the search of a reservoir after reportedly discovering videos and photographs of the location at the home of the prime suspect in her disappearance.
Dozens of German and Portuguese officers are searching woodland surrounding a reservoir about 30 miles from the holiday resort where Madeleine vanished days before her fourth birthday in May 2007.
A police motorboat has also been sent into the water with two officers on board, while others searched the shore with pickaxes.
The search was requested by the German authorities, who found photographs of the Barragem do Arade reservoir when Christian Brueckner was arrested six years ago.
