Best time to visit
Sea breezes keep hot summer temperatures pleasant, and temperatures rarely sink below 13C in winter. Motor racing fans gather in January for the Monte Carlo rally and in May for the annual grand prix, while music-lovers opt for November when the Monte Carlo Jazz Festival gets underway in the elegant Salle Garnier at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
