Lower back muscles that are tired and tense through too much sitting, standing or driving can be a precursor to back pain if ignored. “A lot of people experience tightness or a dull ache in their backs even after gym work or running,” says Lexie Williamson, a yoga instructor and the author of Yoga for Runners (Bloomsbury). “You can release that low back fatigue with simple movements at the end of the day.”
