Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant empire recorded a threefold increase in revenue to almost £80 million last year as it bounced back from Covid lockdowns and opened seven new restaurants.

The TV chef’s eponymous business reached a total of 50 establishments — 36 company-run outlets across the UK and 14 licensed locations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia — and is targeting 100 globally by mid-2024.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, which was founded in 1997, now has 38 outlets in the UK, including its four profitable “super-premium” sites in London — Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Pétrus, Savoy Grill and Lucky Cat — and two more recently opened sites within the Savoy Hotel. A second Lucky Cat opens next month in Manchester.
