Farhad Moshiri in talks over deal for Everton stadium investment
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has signed an exclusivity agreement with American company MSP Sports Capital as he seeks investment to complete funding for the club’s new stadium.
Moshiri has been in talks with MSP since January when its Iranian-American chairman Jahm Najafi and CEO Jeff Moorad attended Everton’s home game with Southampton.
Moshiri, the British-Iranian billionaire, knows MSP personally and it already has stakes in five European clubs: Augsburg, Brondby, Alcorcón, Estoril Praia and Beveren. No deal has been agreed as yet but discussions are not linked to Everton’s bid for Premier League survival.

Work began on the £500 million stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool in the summer of 2021 and it is understood that any agreement with MSP would be for a percentage
