Cameron Norrie will bid for a first victory over Novak Djokovic at the third time of asking after reaching the last 16 of the Italian Open.

The British No 1 survived a late fightback from Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics to book a showdown with the world No 1 in Rome tomorrow. From a set and 5-1 up, he failed to convert six match points before finally completing the job in the second-set tie-break for a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) win in two hours.
