British participation in all four European finals after referees announced

All four European club finals will have British representation after the officials were confirmed for the showpiece games.

Refereeing teams from the UK have been selected to oversee the Europa League final and the women’s Champions League final, while Manchester City and West Ham United have made the finals of the Champions League and Europa Conference League respectively.

Anthony Taylor will referee the Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma in Budapest on May 31 with his compatriots, Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, as the assistants.

Taylor, the 44-year-old from Wythenshawe, Manchester, has overseen 29 Premier League games this season, as well as six Champions League matches and the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final between Roma and Feyenoord. Michael Oliver has been named
