Brighton & Hove Albion’s players and staff will receive a bumper 20 per cent bonus after the club qualified for Europe for the first time in their history.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side all but confirmed their place in the Europa League after beating Southampton on Sunday. It is understood that the Brighton owner, Tony Bloom, will reward every member of staff, believed to be about 1,000 people including casual workers, with a 20 per cent one-off annual salary bonus for the historic achievement.
