Moroder returned to form when winning at Doncaster last month and he can follow up in the Bet365 Gold Cup (2.15) on the final day of the National Hunt season at Sandown Park today.

Lightly-raced for a nine-year-old, Moroder has landed five of his nine starts over fences and will be fresher than most of his rivals after having just three starts this term.

He was highly progressive last season, signing off with an easy win at Exeter on his first try at a marathon trip where he won with much more in hand than the length verdict suggests, having been eased down on the run-in.

Moroder was below-par on his first two runs this season but stayed on strongly to take the Grimthorpe Chase
